Last Friday night, our group completed “Grace” as the annual fundraiser workout to support the Barbells for Boobs organization. This is always a special night for many as cancer has affected the lives of most in one way or another. Having a little way to give back as someone you know has likely battled cancer is fulfilling knowing that you are supporting a great cause organization.
As I’m writing this we have currently raised $1,689 towards our goal of $2500. Every $80 raised will give one more person the ability to be screened for breast cancer. Our current total gives 21 more people the right to know if they are living with cancer and the hope to find out soon enough for treatment.
