Week Preview for 6/6/22

🔷 Our 10-Year Anniversary Party is this Saturday!  Thanks to you and many others along the way we’ve made it here.  If you’re reading this on Sunday, it is very last call for RSVP.  Check your text/email for details there.  A few asked about what to wear.  Cocktail attire will be recommended but feel free to wear whatever you’re comfortable in.

Programming

-Monday-

Going overhead with a fun complex of Push Press + Push Jerk for strength work.  The MetCon is a challenging triplet of Hang Power Cleans, Push Jerks, and Box Jumps.  Good barbell cycling and conditioning day.

 

-Tuesday-

Strength time features the Split Squat and Strict Chest-to-Bar Pull Ups.  Work on those imbalances with the single-leg work and build that upper body pull here.  Classic conditioning couplet of Wall Balls and 400m Runs will do the trick for your MetCon.

 

-Wednesday-

Longer conditioning day in a partner format.  We have 1000m Row intervals and while your partner goes you’ll have a little Burpee and Double Under work.  With any time remaining you’ll have the option to get core work on the Hanging L-Sit or just grab a foam roller and work on recovery.

 

-Thursday-

Hitting the Hang Power Clean for strength work.  Great opportunity to work on being explosive.  MetCon has Strict Ring Dips, Dumbbell Hang Power Snatches, and Strict Ab Mat Situps to keep you moving.

 

-Friday-

Deadlift day building load over sets.  Strength based couplet of heavy Russian Kettlebell Swings and Strict Pull Ups to finish your workout.

 

-Saturday-

Partner WOD!  Splitting reps as needed working through Overhead Squats, Toes-to-Bar, Med Ball Cleans, and Partner Med Ball Situps.  Fun one to kick off the weekend and sweat before it’s party time tonight.
